Shawn Carney, founder and CEO of 40 Days for Life took the microphone. ‘Greetings from an abortion-free Texas!’ shouted Shawn before reminding the pro-lifers that ‘we who had the most extreme abortion laws in the world, were able to overturn that law and if we can do it, you can do it!’ Shawn quoted Mother Teresa in saying ‘When America ends abortion, the world will follow’. The deafening applause that followed indicated that those listening believed this could be done.
